Pure Relief Cannabidol Gummy. Upon opening the package of Pure Relief Pure Hemp Cannabidiol Gummies, we smelled an interesting combination of a variety of fruits(orange, strawberry, and lemon predominantly) and the peppery, herbal scent of hemp terpenes. It’s an interesting combination that made a few of our testers sneeze, but it isn’t necessarily unpleasant unless you aren’t a fan of the scent of cannabis.

The package comes with different flavors of gummy bears:  lemon, orange, strawberry, and raspberry. The strawberry gummies were probably our favorites; they tasted bright and fruity, and the flavors worked well with the herbal, slightly astringent notes lent by the terpenes.

The lemon flavor was another memorable one, reminding us of a cross between a Lemon Head and the herbal flavor of a natural cough drop. Zesty without being bitter, the flavor strikes a pleasing balance between tart and sweet. The orange flavor is reminiscent of the candied orange slices in confectionery jars, but with that familiar astringent, subtly bitter aftertaste.

The raspberry flavor is the most brightly colored but surprisingly had the mildest flavor. These were the most terpene-flavored of the bunch and, while we didn’t dislike them, they didn’t impress us as much as the other three flavors in the package. Fortunately, the assortment of flavors keeps you from getting stuck with a flavor you dislike.

Consistency

These gummies are fully vegan and therefore lack the traditional bovine-derived gelatin in many gummy candies. They are much softer than your run-of-the-mill gummy bear and very easy to chew, with sugar crystals coating the outside of the candies.

The lemon gummies are a sunny yellow, while the orange-flavored candies are a vibrant orange verging on neon. The strawberry bears are pink, and the raspberry flavor is a deep red. The colors are easy to distinguish from one another in the package, eliminating the need to look at certain flavors side-by-side.  Pure Relief Cannabidol Gummy

The sugar crystals on the exterior of the gummies provide a pleasant crunch that contrasts with the softness of the candies themselves. They do not leave much of a residual aftertaste, though we should note that the herbal flavors are the ones that linger the longest. If you’re not a fan of the flavors lent by terpenes, follow up the gummies with a sip of juice or water to eliminate this issue.
